What You’ll Do

As the Autism Supports Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in building, implementing, and managing autism-related support services. Responsibilities include:

  • DESE Family Navigation: Provide family-centered navigation support, develop individualized plans, and oversee Skills Trainers.
  • DDS Program Development: Assist in launching and managing new DDS-funded programs such as Adult Companion Services, In-Home Supports, Family Navigation, and Respite.
  • Information & Referral: Respond to calls and emails; provide resources; maintain updated referral lists; track requests and report trends.
  • Community Programs & Events: Support planning and implementation of community dances, seasonal programming, and other activities.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure programs meet DESE/DDS requirements, support data tracking, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise staff, work closely with the Director, and serve as a key liaison to families, partners, and funders.
  • Flexibility: Some evenings and weekends required; in-office work as scheduled.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum, with strong behavioral support skills.
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning; familiarity with Positive Behavioral Supports preferred.
  • Experience with DDS- or DESE-funded services strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory and program development experience required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and community partners.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Education: High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive service delivery.
