About Us
For 75 years, The Arc of the South Shore has supported people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live with dignity, independence, and inclusion. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re launching an innovative Home-Based Residential Supports (HBRS) Pilot with the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
This first-of-its-kind program supports adults with significant medical and/or behavioral needs who live at home with their families — offering an alternative to 24/7 group home placement. Our goal is to keep individuals connected to the people and communities they love while providing the highest standard of care.
